Strategic problem solving is the core of my design process.
I focus on creating solution-oriented designs that can help and impact business outcomes while addressing user needs. The following is a living process that is open to iteration and evolution as I gain more experience and evolve.
Definition
• Defining the "what" and "the why" for each project, through discovery sessions with stakeholders. Having a proper understanding of the desired outcome, and the success metrics for each project, and creating a problem statement
Research
• Auditing the existing material and touch-points and learning about the dependencies, scope and timeline, through the stakeholders and key members of the cross-functional team
• Generate and validate interaction schematics and maps for the site, app, or system, to form a bird's-eye view
• Research the competitive landscape and best practices
Strategy
Form a vision of "the how", a design road map, and present it to the stakeholders for feedback and validation
UX Design
• Create high-fidelity working prototypes based on the vision, using either the existing pattern libraries or designing new components as needed
• Present, validate, test , feedback, iterate cycle
Visual Design
• Crafting high-fidelity visual components and user interfaces based on existing brand guidelines, or creating brand identity* from scratch, to guide the user interface design
*  The process for creating a brand strategy and artifacts differs partially. For more of my brand identity and visual communication work samples, please visit my Bechance portfolio
